1. The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI)

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), also known as Pusa Institute, was founded in 1905 at Pusa, Bihar, with a generous grant of 30,000 Pounds from Mr. Henry Phipps, an American philanthropist. The institute was originally called Agricultural Research Institute (ARI), and it had five departments: Agriculture, Cattle Breeding. Chemistry, Economic Botany, Mycology, and Chemistry. In 1907, Bacteriology was added. In 1907, the name of ARI was changed into Imperial Institute of Agricultural Research in 1911. It was renamed Imperial Agricultural Research Institute in 1919. The institute was moved to Delhi in July 1936, following a devastating earthquake on 15 th January 1934. The institute was renamed Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) after independence.

The advancement of scientific disciplines was the core program at IARI in the 1950's. This provided the foundation for IARI's rapid expansion in the 1960's, 1970's, and 1970's. In 1958, it was designated a Deemed University. IARI was the birthplace of the green revolution, which brought smiles to millions upon millions of Indians. It developed famous wheat varieties that contributed an estimated one billion tones to additional production. IARI is the mother institution of many ICAR institutions. It continues to be the most important institution for agricultural extension, research, education, and research in India.

2. School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) New Delhi


 

The School of Planning and Architecture was established in 1941 as a Department of Architecture at Delhi Polytechnic. Later, it was affiliated to the University of Delhi and integrated into the School of Town and Country Planning, which was established by the Government of India in 1955 to provide services for urban, rural and regional planning. In 1959, the School was renamed School of Planning and Architecture after its integration.

In 1979, the Government of India conferred the status of "Deemed University" to the School of Planning and Architecture due to the specialization of the School's achievements in the respective fields. The School was able to expand its horizons by creating new academic and extension programs, and encouraging research and consultancy. In 2015, it was designated "An Institute of National Importance Under an Act of Parliament".

Only one university of its kind, the School is a specialized university that provides training at different levels in various aspects of human habitat. Some of the programs, which are not currently available anywhere else in India, have been introduced by the School at both the Bachelor's and Master level. In its pursuit of excellence, the School has been a leader in expanding education and research to new frontiers in knowledge. The School's primary concern is the protection of human habitat and the environment. Therefore, it continues to expand its range of academic programmes by offering programmes in new areas and emerging areas that are not currently available elsewhere in the country.

4. Kasturi Ram College Of Higher Education


 

Kasturi Ram College of Higher Education is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. In 2005, the college was founded by Prof. K. K. Aggarwal, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor at GGSIP University. It is managed by Kasturi Ram Research Center for Science and Management. This body is registered under the Society Registration Act XXI 1860 and has the mission to promote quality education and build competent professionals. Joint Assessment Committee of GGSIPU & SFRC, Department of Higher Education (Govt.) has awarded the College the highest Category 'A’ grading. NCT of Delhi. The college has been accredited by the NAAC and is ISO 9001:2015 Certified.

It is a member of DELNET (Developing Library Network), and British Council Library. Jagran Institute of Management & Mass Communication is also affiliated with the college.

KRCHE is located in sub-city Narela, in a serene, peaceful and academically stimulating environment. Even though Narela is a densely populated area, there was not an option for higher education before the college was established. The Society, Kasturi Ram Research for Science & Management established the college in order to meet the aspirations and goals of students who want to pursue higher education. 5. AJK Mass Communication Research Centre

India's premier media institution, the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, is a top-rated one. The MCRC was founded in 1982 by Anwar Jamal, former VC of Jamia Millia Islamia, and later, the Chairman of the Centre. It offers post-graduate and graduate courses in the art and craft of modern media technology. A.J. Kidwai founded the MCRC with the collaboration of York University, Toronto, and the Canadian International Development Aid Agency. 6. Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute Of Hotel Management & Catering Technology

The Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society established this Institute in 1999. This charitable Society has been working in the fields of Education and Health since 1952. It aims to provide high-quality education. BCIHMCT, New Delhi, is a leading Hotel Management Institute. It is one of the top 10 Hotel Management Colleges in India. It has established a reputation as a resource for competent managerial and technical staff for the hotel industry. NAAC, an independent body under UGC, has awarded the Institute "G rade -A" as Quality Institution.

BCIHMCT, New Delhi, is the First Hotel Management Institute affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It offers a four year degree in Hotel Management & Catering Technology. BCIHMCT has been rated as an A+ Category Institution by Delhi Govt. The institute's 'Process Management Approach" facilitates the effective implementation and monitoring of each process. The vision and mission of this Institute are shared by both the faculty and students. They also participate in its implementation.

7. Department Of Management Studies IIT Delhi - [DMS IITD], New Delhi

The evolution of an idea in 1963 led to the creation of the Department of Management Studies. The idea that was initially a seed became a reality and IIT Delhi established an internal committee in 1974 to review the operation of the management section. 1975 saw the establishment of an expert committee to examine the possibility for launching this area in a more permanent manner. In 1975, the School for System Studies established a Master of Technology program in Management Systems. The School for Systems and Management Studies was renamed School for Systems and Management Studies. 1978 saw the establishment of the Management Core Group. The core inputs for a full-time Management Education at IIT (D) were confirmed by an Advisory committee made up of representatives from the Academia as well as the industry. There has been no turning back since then. The School for Systems and Management Studies was renamed the Centre for Systems and Management Studies. The Centre for Management Studies was later renamed.

8. Shri Ram College of Commerce

1951 The Commercial College made a decision to specialize in commerce and economics at the Silver Jubilee. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) was renamed in honor of Sir Shri Ram's contribution. The College moved to its current location on the North Campus of the University of Delhi in 54 three years later. One of the most significant changes occurred in 1957 when the College became a coeducational institution. This transformation opened up commerce and economics education opportunities for female students at the College. It has also led to an increase in equality of gender representation in the student community.

The B. A. (Honours Economics) The Economics course was added later in 58. B. A. (Hons.) The undergraduate courses at Shri Ram College of Commerce were rounded out by Economics.

The 1960s were a time of infrastructural growth for Shri Ram College of Commerce. 1963-64 saw the construction of the Students' Centre, Tutorial Blocks, and Girls' Hostel Blocks. The Shramdaan Movement was also responsible for the construction of the swimming pool and gymnasium. Shri Ram College of Commerce became the first college to have a swimming-pool. In 1967 the famous bust of Late Shri Ram was placed on the front lawns of the Institution he constructed, giving the campus an airy aura.

The College created "Business Analyst" in 1968. This journal is dedicated to the active dissemination and promotion original and current research in the areas of management, finance, and governance.
